Our Aims and Information / Curriculum for Excellence

In St Andrews our aims are;

  • To enhance the development and education of the children under statutory school age in a parent-involving environment 
  • To encourage learning through play, observation and questioning within a happy, safe, secure and stimulating environment 
  • To work within a framework which ensures equal opportunity for all 

We are always concerned about our pupils safety and recently information for parents regarding children and internet safety has become highlighted through various areas of the media. Information which will be of help can be found on the following websites;

Information about homework and attendance can be found by downloading the following documents. This section will also include policy information supplied by the council which includes information about the Curriculum for Excellence documentation. 

We have also provided information identifying suitable websites which could be used by children if bad weather prevails again!
